QRef is a Knowledge Base used to store and organize entries searchable by keyword and grouped by category. Very fast and simple. Especially popular with those who still appreciate the command line. This tool has nearly full functionality from the command line and is much faster than web-based front-ends (but still has a web-based front end for those who prefer it). Great for Unix hacks etc., who want quick access to tips etc or as a general FAQ/Knowledge base. Used by a number of corporations as internal FAQs. QRef is written in CGI/Perl and entries are stored in MySQL.
